The 2013 cricket season gets underway on Saturday 30th April with our first IX in action away at Kirk Langley in Division 8N of the Derbyshire Cricket League. Over the following 4 and a half months we will be playing regular cricket with not only our 1st IX but also our Sunday friendly IX made up of "old blokes who should know better" along with up and coming cricketers from our junior members .. We will also be playing Kwik Cricket for the under 11s as well as Under 11s.

The cost of joining our club for the forthcoming 2013 season is still exceptional value. The costs are just £25.00 for a full adult membership, £5.00 for a junior membership, and only £2.00 to become a social member. Should you wish to come along and join us whether that be playing competitively on a Saturday afternoon, playing friendly cricket on a Sunday afternoon, playing league cricket at your age level (Under 11 Kwik Cricket, Under 11s, and junior games ) then please either fill in the relevant membership form and return it to Derek, email us at derek.balmforth@awsworthcc.co.uk or just pop up to the "Rec" on one of our match days and you will be made very welcome

Forthcoming Events


THE NEW ARTIFICIAL WICKET! After two years of fundraising by the committee the new artificial wicket has been laid ready for the 2011 season. The artificial has been funded by Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, Broxtowe Action Fund and The Lords Tavernors. We are planning a charity match to officially open the new wicket and use the new outdoor nets.
